TBOLF recognizes the presence of needy brethren in the Church and the need to support them at that point of time spiritually, emotionally and materially. Consequently the Church welfare ministry is tasked with responsibility of ensuring all those in need among the Church members are well catered for. This is in line with the early Church model; “Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need” (Acts 4:34-36).

Care Cell and ministry leaders are required to bring to the notice of the Pastor and the welfare ministry members, the presence of such brethren or whenever benevolent need arises. The welfare ministry team then investigate, as much as feasible, the genuineness of the appeal and the quantum of help needed is presented to the Pastoral team for review, endorsement and disbursement.

To the glory of God many brethren have been timely assisted whenever they have urgent need and many are being regularly assisted in addition to the annual Christmas support given to all identified low income earners among the brethren. Many testimonies received from brethren confirms the impact this ministry is making in their life. We trust God to continue to meet all the needs of every member of the Church according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus; Amen.
